In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble, Anjali Anand talks about meeting Rekha and finding out she was a fan of hers. She says, “Mum met Rekha Ji the other day, I didn’t know they are good friends, mom had told me they were friends, she said, ‘Ab bhul gayi hogi, 30-40 saal ho gaye,’ so, Dabba Cartel ke premiere pe Rekha Ji walked in and I looked at her and I just went pale, ‘Rekha Ji is here, bas ab aur kuch nahi chahiye zindagi mein.'”

She continued,“She walked in and my mother has gotten up from her seat and they are now walking towards each other and I’m standing in the middle and she just held my mother and said, ‘Punno!,’ and my mother said, ‘Rekha!,’ and they were standing right in front of me and pulling each others arms. She was like, ‘Tu kaha thi itne saalo se,’ my mother said, ‘Main yahi thi,’ then she asked, ‘Yeh kaha se aayi,’ and then Rekha Ji said, ‘Main toh iski itni badi fan hu kya bataau.’ I just started to look around, wondering if everyone heard that. Then she caught me in the interval she held my hand and talking about everything that I have done, about Jhalaak and then I knew she really was my fan. Tab pata chala ki you never know ki aapko kaun dekh rahe hai.”
