In an interview, Ankit had mentioned how he had faced casting couch when some people insisted him to share pics without clothes and even attend unnecessary parties. Recalling how traumatic it was to deal with such shocking instances, he shares, “I was pretty much aware because you’ve been hearing stories all your life. And people often say that if you are going to Bombay or Delhi you will have to compromise. So I had it in mind which is why I was somewhere prepared also. So it didn’t come to me as a shocker but when it happened, it hit me like a little bullet train.”

He continued, “And it’s really bad when somebody who looks very sweet and kind and comes to you and makes friends with you and then suddenly just talks shit out of nowhere. This is what he looks at me and this is how he looks at me and this is what he wants out of me. So it becomes really stressful. It is traumatic and not healthy at all for anyone who is beginning. But once you go through it, when you meet such people who are trying to act vulgar with you. Once you get over it and once you start working, those are the same people who just either vanish from your lives or they kind of respect you a lot. It either ways.”

He concluded, “But, yes, they exist. We are for real and people should be aware and people should be alert because they’ll tell you that this is the way of going about it, but that is not the way for sure.”

Talking about Ankit’s work front, he has a prominent role in 120 Bahadur with Farhan Akhtar which is all set to release this year.
