Today, as we celebrate Father’s Day, actor Ankit Siwach – best known for his performance in Kull and the soon-to-release 120 Bahadur, opens up about the man who shaped his values, supported his dreams, and showed him what it truly means to live selflessly – his father.
Ankit recently opened up to Bollywood Bubble about his father, their bond, the lessons he taught him and lots more. Scroll below to read snippets of what he said.
Ankit Siwach On His Father
For Ankit Siwach, his father has been more than just a parent, he’s been a moral compass and an anchor during life’s toughest storms. “The biggest life lesson my dad gave me is to never hurt anyone, never fall into any kind of corruption, and to work hard no matter what the situation is,” Ankit shares. These simple yet powerful words have stayed with him throughout his life and career, guiding him through the ever-changing tides of the entertainment industry.
But beyond the wisdom, it’s the silent gestures that have etched themselves deepest in Ankit’s heart. Reflecting on a tender moment during a particularly difficult period in his life, he says, “When I was on bed rest for four months, it was he who made me sleep in his lap every day. We didn’t talk much then, just those moments of me resting in his lap while watching TV. I still feel blessed whenever I think about it.”
Ankit: My Father Is A Living Example Of A Man Who Lives For Society
Admiration runs deep when Ankit talks about his father’s character. “He’s a living example of a man who lives for society,” he says with pride. “He believes in giving back, loving unconditionally, and helping people without any form of discrimination or hesitation. There must be very few like him.”
In a world where parental expectations can often become burdens, Ankit cherishes the quiet yet unwavering support his father offered, especially when it came to his career. “He has never pressured me about anything in life. Just the fact that he believes in me at all times is more supportive than anything else.”
One memory that still shines brightly from his childhood is of his father on the cricket field. “Papa used to take us to his cricket matches. We used to watch him play and feel so proud of him. He would win trophies, and we would bring them home together. That emotion will stay with me forever,” he recalls.
On this Father’s Day, Ankit Siwach reminds us that the bond between a father and child doesn’t always need grand declaration, sometimes, it’s in the quiet presence, the gentle gestures, and the lifelong values that fathers silently pass on.
