He didn’t take up a single project because he trusted me. I had told him that I would give him one of my shows, and he held onto that faith. Around that time, Anupamaa was heading into a brilliant track, and coincidentally, Shivam was offered another big show.”

He added, “But he put that aside and continued to wait patiently for my project. I genuinely felt bad knowing he was sitting without work for almost eight months, so I knew I had to give him Anupamaa. And today, he has truly proved his mettle as Prem. I’m very glad I made this decision, and I’m even happier to see Shivam flourishing on the show.”
