EXCLUSIVE: Anya Singh Reveals Aamir Khan, SS Rajamouli’s Cameo With Lakshya In Ba***ds Of Bollywood Was A Surprise; Recalls Director Aryan Khan’s REACTION

With just days left until Aryan Khan’s directorial debut series, The Ba***ds Of Bollywood, premieres on Netflix, the excitement around the show is only increasing. The show’s lead cast – Bobby Deol, Lakshya, Raghav Juyal, Anya Singh and Sahher Bambba, recently sat down with Bollywood Bubble for a chat and went down memory lanes as they recalled some fun moments on sets and how certain scenes were shot.

During the chat, Anya and Lakshya also revealed Aamir Khan and SS Rajamouli’s cameos in the show was unscripted and Aryan wrote the scene on the spot. Scroll below to know all the beans they spilled.

Lakshya, Anya Singh On Aamir Khan, SS Rajamouli’s The Ba***ds Of Bollywood Cameo

Talking about working with Aamir Khan in Ba***ds of Bollywood, Lakshya said, “Aamir sir ki timing, presence hi na scene banna deti.” He continued, “Wohi joh style hai karne ka (imitating him) woh kiya lekin yaar bahut aitihasik din tha yeh. Maine toh sab ko jaa jaa ke (bola)… Koi maana hi nahi jisko baaya maine ki shoot kiya Aamir Khan sir ke saath. Kissi ne maana hi nahi… fir jab dhekha toh… Recalling another memory, he added, “Sir aur main ek time pe same gym jaate the, toh maine kaha, ‘Sir, aapko yaad hai?’ Usne kaha, ‘Nahi.'”

Talking about that scene, Anya Singh revealed, “This scene was made on the spot.” She elaborated, “So we (Lakshya and Anya) were shooting a separate scene, and Aamir Khan sir and SS Rajamouli sir were shooting an ad together. Aryan got really excited and was like, ‘Now we’ll do the scene with them’. So we were immediately sent to change into costumes. And (when) we came back, Aryan had already written their scene — whatever little bit, and he said, ‘Lakshya, Anya, whatever you’re feeling, just say. So when we came back, of course, we were like, ‘Oh my God, Aamir sir and Raja Molli sir,’ and that was kept.”“

Adding that they kept ‘crackling up’ while shooting the ‘/vada pav or idli sambar’ scene, Anya continued, “The feeling of (seeing) Aamir sir and Rajamouli sir — I think both of us really were awestruck.”
