Arjun Bijlani: After Success People Expect More From You
Talking about what success really means and why keeping it is harder than reaching it, Arjun Bijlani says, “Maintaining success is definitely harder. It requires consistency and constant effort.” He believes that reaching a milestone is important, but the real challenge starts afterward. Elaborating on it, he says, “(After success) people expect more from you, and you have to keep proving yourself again and again. That’s what makes consistency difficult.”
During the interaction, Arjun also states that the pressure after success is greater than the struggle before it. He says, “Yes, because once you achieve something, there’s always pressure to match it or do even better the next time.”
When asked how he balances ambition and consistency, Arjun shares his approach – “I focus on giving my best every day instead of overthinking the results.” While adding that staying present helps him manage pressure, Arjun also admits there have been many times in his career when staying consistent was harder than reaching a big milestone. He says, “Yes, many times. Staying consistent needs more discipline than achieving one big success.”
For Arjun, long-term success is simple to define. “Consistent performance always defines long-term success. One hit is great, but consistency is what builds a career.”
Arjun’s practical mindset and strong work ethic keep him focused on steady growth. He shows that in entertainment, it’s not just about reaching the top, but staying there.
