In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, while promoting Heer Express, alongside the cast, Ashutosh Rana opened up about the audience wanting him to play Lord Ram in Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana. The actor emphasised the importance of patience, persistence and luck.

Ashutosh Rana REACTS To Playing Ram In Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana

When asked about the audience manifesting him to play Lord Ram in Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana, Ashutosh Rana reacted, “Nahi, mera apna yeh manna hai ki jo cheez aapke prarambh mein, aapki tamaam bhaag mein bhagwan ne likhi hogi woh apne aap pahunch jaati hai. Aap sirf ek jagah par baithkar, dhairyapurvak pratiksha kijiye. Pratiksha aur dhairya agar sahi staan par ki jaa rahi hoon toh fal bhi hoti hai. Toh main yeh maanta hoon ki aap kya sochte hai? Main yeh maanke chalta hoon ki humaara ek naatak hai, Ram Naam ke naatak mein main Ravan ka kidaar nibha raha hoon.”

He continued, “Toh aap apne mitro se zyada apne shatru ke naam ka chintan karte hai. Toh jiska aap chintan mann mein smran karte ho aap unke jaise hojaate hai. Toh agar hum Ram ka kirdaar nibha rahe hote toh Ram ji apne baare mein toh naa sochte rehete? Aur agar woh apne baare mein sochte, toh woh fir hum unko Ram kaise kehete?”

Concluding, the actor said, “Kyunki unki toh mehta hi iss wajah se haina ki sabko apne apne gharo mein sab jan ko hota hai kaam, aur unko sabke gharo mein dhanya dhanya Shree Ram. Toh Ravan ka charitra karte karte, aap Ram ka chintan karte hai, toh kehete hai ki aapki jo gati praapt hoti hai woh Ram ki gati praapt hoti hai. Toh mera apna maanna uss Ram gati mein hai toh isliye main logo ka dhanyawaad karta hoon ki woh aisa sochte hai, aur bahut achi baat hai lekin unki kripa bani rahe.”
