Babil Khan On Being Depressed After His Father Passed Away

In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble, Babil Khan shares an anecdote about facing depression and honoring his father’s legacy. When asked about his opinion on being compared with Irrfan Khan he quipped, “I think that was misconstrued. I think I did that after Baba passed, about a year later. I met my acting mentor, Rachit Singh, and through his workshops, I began to understand myself better.

He added, “I found a way to sit in silence with everything, to accept who I am, including the parts I hate and the parts I love. It taught me to embrace the entirety of who I am, not just the parts I like. Because when we don’t, we often end up projecting the parts we dislike about ourselves onto others and, that’s what we usually end up doing.”
