EXCLUSIVE: Chhorii 2 Director Vishal Furia Calls Nushrratt Bharuccha ‘Hungry Actress’; Says, “She Has Not Been Given Enough Chances By The Industry”

Director Vishal Furia is all set for the release of his upcoming horror film Chhorii 2 starring Nushrratt Bharuccha. He recently opened up about his experience working with Nushrratt Bharuccha, praising her dedication and passion. He called her a “hungry actress” when it comes to work, noting how committed she is to her craft.

Vishal Furia Recalls His First Meeting With Nushrratt Bharuccha For Another Project

Vishal Furia lauded Nushrratt and called her hard-working actress who is hungry to succeed and make her stand out, and she deserves more recognition for her versatile talent. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble, he recalled his first meeting with Nushrratt Bharuccha for another project and how their bond became stronger with the horror film. He said, “When I met Nushrratt for the first time it was not for Chhorii 2 but for some another project, which did not take place eventually what I saw in her was that she was very hungry because she wanted to be a part of it. I could see that hunger in her, she wanted the part, she wanted to work it out, prove herself. While we were shortlisting names, we went to her for Chhorii and she made it her own.”

Vishal shared that Nushrratt constantly strives to prove herself, especially in an industry that often gives opportunities to a limited set of actors. He admired her willingness to take on challenging roles and her drive to break stereotypes. He further added, “She worked very hard and tried to understand what a pregnant lady would go through in Chhorii. Then in Chhorii 2, how a mother would go through because she has done none of those things in real life. So she really took a lot of effort doing that so that that hunger. To prove her style and that she is an extremely talented actress just that she has not been given enough changes is what I would say because that’s how the industry works chances are only given to a limited number of actors rest are only boxed. Not just actors but also directors for that matter. The rest are only boxing some categories. Now, she has proven herself with Chhorii and with Chhorii 2 she has excelled more. With her I have a very interesting relationship because we both have a certain similarity. We understand each other really well.”
