During one of their shoots on set, Deol became quite emotional and broke down in tears because his son, Aryaman, was leaving for the US to pursue his studies. Darshan Kumaar Reveals Bobby Deol Became Emotional When His Son Left For The US

When asked about Aashram co-star Bobby Deol’s emotional nature and if he ever broke down on sets, Darshan Kumaar said, “Haan ek baar hua tha ki jaise maine bola, woh bahut emotional hain aur unki family ki bonding bahut kamaal ki hai. Ek doosre se itna pyaar karte hain, itna respect karte hain — woh seekhne layak hai. Unke bete shayad US mein padhne ke liye ja rahe the. Aur uss time ek gap tha, ek break tha, toh woh unhe chhodne ja rahe the. They were so emotional about that ki ‘Mera beta ja raha hai, and I will miss him.’ Main samajh sakta hoon unki feelings, kyunki main bhi thoda emotional insaan hoon.”

He added, “Main samajh sakta hoon ki woh kya feel kar rahe honge uss waqt.Aur woh unke kaam mein bhi dikhta hai abhi. Woh itna passionately kaam karte hain na. Kuch din pehle hum unke ghar pe mile the — hamara poora gang, Aashram wala. Unke saath hi baithe the. Toh woh apni films ko lekar, apne craft ko lekar itni baatein karte hain na, bahut accha lagta hai sunke. Jaise bolte hain, ‘Main abhi yeh film kar raha hoon, abhi maine yeh kaam kiya hai, ab yeh aane wala hai aur ismein maine is tarah ki mehnat ki hai.’ Iss process pe hum bhi baatein karte hain. Achha lagta hai dekh ke ki woh chaahte hain accha kaam karna aur uske liye din-raat mehnat karte hain.”
