Director Vishal Furia Shares MAJOR Update On Nushrratt Bharuccha Starrer Chhorii 3

Ahead of the release of Chhorii 2, director Vishal Furia has hinted at the possibility of a third installment in the horror franchise. Speaking about the upcoming sequel, he shared his excitement and praised Nushrratt Bharuccha for her powerful performance.

Director Vishal Furia Hints At THIRD Part Of The Horror Franchise Chhorii

Vishal revealed that the story of Chhorii 2 has the potential to expand further, and if part two connects well with the audience, a third part is definitely on the cards. Speaking about the same to Bollywood Bubble exclusively, he said, “If all goes well and if everything is well received. If the audience feels that they want to see more then why not? I already have some thoughts put in place but I would want to wait for the reaction of the audiences and their reception to move forward.”

He added that the universe of Chhorii is rich with horror and social commentary, and he would love to explore it deeper in a possible Chhorii 3 in the future. He also talked about why Chhorii 2 is releasing on OTT and now having a theoretical release and said, “Currently the industry is such that every film is unfortunately meditate or judged by the box office numbers. I think that is not something that I want to follow trap to. I have a trust in the first part. I want to support this full. Just at home or wherever they are and it only helps my enterprise genre to reach to a larger audience without the worry of, of the firm power economics. So I think that is the main reason why we opted for an OTT release.”

It is set to premiere exclusively on Prime Video in India and across more than 240 countries and territories worldwide on 11th April 2025.
