Adah Sharma On Dealing With NOT Being Selected In Auditions

In conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Adah was questioned about how she deals with rejection, missing out on roles, or situations where she auditioned and got selected, but the role went to someone else. She gave a very honest and relatable answer. Adah said that she has faced all of these situations. She admitted that it does hurt when such things happen. Like everyone else, she feels bad, gets upset, and sometimes even cries. She said, “Yes all of the above . I feel bad like all humans do, i cry a little or lots depending on the magnitude of the loss and how attached and invested i was. Then I use all of that trauma and save it in my head and use it as emotional memory for my performances.”

Adah believes that using her real-life pain helps her bring more depth and truth to her performances. This method allows her to connect with her characters more deeply and make her acting feel more real to the audience.

On the work front, Adah was last seen in Tumko Meri Kasam, written and directed by Vikram Bhatt. The film stars Anupam Kher, Ishwak Singh, Adah Sharma, and Esha Deol in lead roles. It was released on March 21, 2025.
