EXCLUSIVE: Gauahar Khan Comments On Maintaining A Balance Between Work And Motherhood; Says, “Want To Bring Up My Child, Not Just…”

Gauahar Khan is currently on cloud nine as she wrapped up shooting for Fauji 2 and even announced her second pregnancy. She even started her own channel where she talks about motherhood and experiences associated with it. In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble, the actress opens up about balancing motherhood and work.

Gauahar Khan on raising Zehaan

When asked about her second pregnancy and things she is keeping in mind after Zehaan’s birth, Gauahar avers, “Pregnancy is a very vast topic, you can’t really put it in words in one time. But I would just like to say to all working mothers out there, who are also actors, everything is possible if you have a good support system. You should have good help, a supportive family and a caring husband, then everything is possible. I made sure that wherever I was shooting for these 2 years, Zehaan was with me. I didn’t care even if I had to bear the expenses. But I have to know that I am bringing up my child and not just help.”

She further expresses gratitude towards production house for supporting her. She states, “I think it’s a great industry we are a part of. Everybody is accepting women today in their form. And I know that after the birth of my second child, I will be back faster. She also recalled how Zehaan fell ill while she was shooting for climax in Pune. He was admitted to hospital where his treatment was going on and Zaid arrived and took care of him while I simultaneously shot. When he was not getting better, we rushed to Mumbai and admitted him and he was in hospital for 10 days. But in times like these, the production was great to support me.”
