EXCLUSIVE: Harman Singha Calls Working With Dhamendra In Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani ‘Divine Intervention’; Reflects, “That Was Just Unbelievable”

Actor Harman Singha – who currently received immense love for his portrayal of Yatish Chawla in The Family Man season 3 has also starred along A-list Bollywood stars like Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in Karan Johar’s Rocky and Rani Kii Prem Kahani. For those who don’t recall, Singha played the younger version of Dharmendra Ji’s character Kanwal Randhawa.

Harman Singha On Working With Dhamendra In Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani

Talking about how big a loss Dharam Ji’s demise was for him and his family, ‘The Family Man S3’ actor told us, “It’s a serious loss, especially in my family. When we were growing up, Dharmendra Ji was not just my hero or Ranvijay’s hero, he was our father’s hero. So we used to hear only two names in our family, Dara Singh and Dharmendra. Because you’re a Punjabi family, you’re from the army, you know that manly charisma that Dharmendra ji had was something that we all loved and admired.”

Recalling a fond memory of his with the late superstar, Singha continues, “And I feel like it was a divine intervention that I got to play his younger version. I got to spend some time with him on set. There’s a beautiful scene when the camera transitions from my face to his face. We shot that together. And just to touch his hand, you know, him putting his hand on my head, giving me blessings. That was just unbelievable. And my parents were so happy. They’re like, yaar, Dharmendar. Like, he’s the ultimate hero for us. Ultimate. It doesn’t get bigger than Dharmendra Ji. And just to be in his presence was truly a blessing. And a very cute thing was that after…”
