Ravi Behl Shares His Thoughts On Social Media Influencers Transitioning Into Acting
With OTT platforms gaining ground, actors and influencers who previously went unnoticed are finally getting their space. When asked about influencers turning actors, Ravi Behl said, ”Dekhiye, this is the sorry state of affairs. I mean, with due respect to everyone, yeh industry bohot alag hai. Yeh reel wali industry nahi hai. Yahaan pe ek bahut hi zaroori qualification hai jisko kehte hain acting. You understand? Agar aapko body banani hai, aapka dhaancha, structure achha hai, lekin phir bhi aap gym jaoge usko enhance karne. Toh usi tareeke se, you have to work on your acting skills, not only on your vanity. Do you understand? “
The Boogie-Woogie judge concluded, “Aap pehle famous ho jaoge, phir acting seekhoge, woh alag profession hai. As long as their performance capability is intact, then use whatever means. Acting alag profession hai aur yeh Instagram ka flash media is a different thing. Now, maybe I won’t be able to do what they do, or maybe I will, but at the same time, will they be able to go and fill the houses with tickets? As long as their performance capability is intact, then use whatever means.”
