She says, “Trajectory hi nahi pakdi, matlab ab Hindi waalon ko samajh hi nahi aaya ki mujhe kahaan cast karein, kaise launch karein, bas time waste karte rahe. Toh phir main udhar chali gayi — their loss.” (They just didn’t get my trajectory — I mean, the Bollywood couldn’t understand where to cast me, how to launch me, and just kept wasting time. So I moved on. Their loss.)
About Her Punjabi Debut
Jasmin Bhasin made her Punjabi film debut with the romantic comedy Honeymoon in 2022, starring opposite Gippy Grewal. Directed by Amarpreet G. S. Chhabra and produced by T-Series and Baweja Studios, the film follows a newlywed couple whose honeymoon plans take a hilarious turn when their entire family decides to join them. The movie was shot across various locations, including London, which played a crucial role in the narrative. Honeymoon marked Jasmin’s transition from television to Punjabi cinema, showcasing her versatility as an actress.
