Manoj Bajpayee On The Family Man Cussing

When asked about his views on shows like Bigg Boss, which is a family show but includes cussing just like his series The Family Man, Manoj Bajpayee said, “Family Man isiliye bahut hi unique hai. That is why, you know, main hamesha kehta hoon ki agar aap gaali dete ho just to sensationalise aur shock value ke liye, tab dikkat hai. Agar woh baat-cheet mein hi nikal jaata hai, conversation ka part hota hai, ya phir script ka hissa hota hai—bahut hi genuine reason ke saath—tab woh gaali wahan pe justified hoti hai.”

He added, “Mere bachchon mein fanbase bada hai, mera audience base bada hai. Sachchi. Toh woh kaise bada? Families kyun unko dekhne deti hain? Kyunki families ko khud nahi lagta ki usme gaali hai. Humne kabhi lagne hi nahi diya ki yeh gaali wala show hai. Srikant ek khaas tarbiyat ka aadmi hai, khaas jagah se aata hai, aur khaas tareeke se operate karta hai. But his way of communication is very different from all the other male leads aur baaki characters. Mere khayal se isi wajah se log usko itna pyaar dete hain. Uski taraf koi ghrina nahi rakhta.”

Manoj On His VIRAL Manager Scene

Speaking about how his manager scene where he expresses frustration in The Family Man, the actor responded, “Manager wala scene. Matlab, woh saare corporate employees ke mann ka jo frustration tha, jo woh sochte the, Srikant ne usko zubaan di thi ya action diya tha. Aur mujhe yeh baad mein ehsaas hua ki log kitne andar se pakke hue the apne-apne bosses se, ki unko woh scene kitna accha laga.”
