Meezaan Jafri Admits Being Nervous While Working With Ajay Devgn, R Madhavan

When asked about his experience of working with Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan in De De Pyaar De 2, Meezaan Jafri said, “It was very nervous… I was very nervous in the beginning because you know, it’s Ajay sir and Maddy sir. But I was very happy that I got the opportunity to work with them. And it was a wonderful experience, you know, because I’ve never met two actors who are so secure in their own skin and in their craft. And on top of that, they’re wonderful human beings.”

He added, “Every day pack up hota tha, we all used to sit, we used to eat food together, and then you know, we used to chill… and then we all used to call it a night. It was literally like a family. And apart from that, they both supported me so much in my scenes, in my performance. They helped me a lot throughout the whole process, and I couldn’t have done this without them.”

Meezaan Reveals If He Can Be Friends With Ajay

Speaking of, if he can be friends with senior actors like Ajay Devgn, Meezaan said, “Nahi, ek dost nahi kahunga because you know, he is very, very senior, but comfort hai. Ab, you know, kaam karne ke baad woh comfort badh gaya hai. I’m very comfortable sitting with Ajay sir now, and I can talk about anything with him. Aisi kai raatein thi shoots mein jahan hum dono akele baith ke baat karte the, about life, my career, work, films. Bahut kuch seekhne mila unse. And of course, because woh age gap hai, toh woh respect aur woh daayra cross nahi karna chahiye. You have to maintain that balance. But end of the day, yes, that love, admiration, respect and comfort is unlimited now, because I love him.”
