EXCLUSIVE: Mimoh Chakraborty On Mithun Chakraborty’s Legacy; Says, “I Cannot Use It To Get Work”

Mahaakshay Chakraborty, also known as Mimoh Chakraborty and Mimoh, is an actor who works in Hindi films and series. He is the son of actors Mithun Chakraborty and Yogeeta Bali. He is best known for his roles in Haunted 3d and Khakee: The Bengal Chapter. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Mimoh Chakraborty admits getting Khakee: The Bengal Chapter through auditions and not his father Mithun Chakraborty’s legacy.

Mimoh Chakraborty Opens Up On Dealing With Rejections

When asked about how he deals with rejections, Mimoh Chakraborty said, “Like people keep asking me that, Mimoh, you are coming back after a long time. I say I never left. I just did not get the opportunity. And again kismat ki baat hai. I believe destiny plays a very important role, and why do I say that is because when I go to a gym, party, or anywhere, there are thousands of guys and girls who are far better than me. When it comes to looks, or talents, to hunger, but destiny. It is all that comes down to it; fate is that she picks who she wants to.”

Mimoh Chakraborty Reveals He Got Khakee Without Using Mithun Chakraborty’s Name

He said, “You cannot tell her ki yaar I am deserving. She will decide who she wants to pick, so yes, destiny is there. And when it comes to rejections, like I said, Aram Nagar I know every office 1 and 2, because I have been there. I have auditioned for every office, and I believe that as an actor, bahut important hota hai us process see guzarna. It teaches you humility. Just because my dad is Mithun Chakraborty, it doesn’t give me the right to use his legacy to get work. Because mera talent jo aap abhi dekh rahe ho, Himel Majumdar in Khakee, is because I auditioned for Khakee. I got Khakee through that process. So, that was very, very important.”
