Mohammad Nazim Manifested His Role As Ahem In Saathiya
When asked about how he got the role of Ahem Modi in Saath Nibhana Saathiya, Nazim said, “Saath Nibhaana Saathiyon toh aisa tha yaar, maine abhi shuru kiya tha apne Punjab mein, apne Moga City mein. Jab main bodybuilding karta tha, toh jab main district champion bana aur North India khela. Tab maine decide kiya ki yaar ya toh main police mein jaunga, ya phir modelling karunga.”
He added, “Pehle jaunga Chandigarh. Aur us time pe na, 2004, 2005, 006 ke aas-paas, music videos ka bahut zamana tha, craze tha. Albums aati thi us time pe gaanon ki. Toh maine decide kiya ki main Chandigarh jaunga pehle, wahan modelling karunga. Aur phir uske baad main Bombay jaunga. Bombay jaake ya toh film karunga ya phir Star Plus pe main lead mein kaam karunga. Tabhi maine manifest kar liya tha yeh. Aur trust me, yeh aise hota hai. Agar aap seriously karte ho, dil se karte ho, aur aapka struggle hota hai usmein, toh aap achieve kar lete ho yaar.”
Mohammad Nazim On Saathiya’s Craze Even Today
Talking about the show’s craze even today, he said, “Mujhe lagta hai ki yaar, itne saalon ke baad bhi agar log aapko pyaar karte hain, chahte hain, toh woh upar wale ka karam hai. Mujhe lagta hai kitne saare shows aise hote hain jo sirf 1-2 saal chalte hain, log unko jaante bhi nahi, pehchaante bhi nahi. Hamara show bandh hua zamana ho gaya, 8 saal ho gaye hain. Aur aaj bhi log utna hi pyaar karte hain, utna hi dekhte hain.”
Further continuing, the actor said, “Even abhi Star Plus pe show repeat telecast hota hai subah 12-12:30 baje. Star wale humein kuch videos, reels ke clips bhejte hain ki aap reshare karo. Toh main daalta hoon, aur jitni bhi stories maine dali hain na, mostly sab millions tak reach hui hain abhi bhi. Toh mujhe lagta hai ki yaar, humne bahut bada achieve kiya hai. Ye bas maa-baap ki duaayein, bhai-behenon aur doston ka pyaar hai, jinhone itni shiddat se humein chaaha hai, pyaar diya hai. Unki badolat hi hum yahan baithe hain.”
‘Ahem’ Nazim On Bonding With ‘Kokilaben’ Rupal
Nazim, who played Ahem Modi, opened up on his bond with Rupal Patel, who portrayed Kokila Modi, revealing whether she is as strict as her character in real life. He said, “Nahi nahi, woh bahut hi chilled out hain, bahut hi acche hain, bahut hi amazing insaan hain aur bahut punctual aur professional hain. Aur sabse badi baat bataun, jo cheez maine unse seekhi hai, woh yeh ki woh bahut punctual hain.”
He added, “Agar aap unko 9:00 baje ka call time doge na, toh woh 8:45 pe aa jaayenge. You have to be there anyway. Woh apna make-up khud 10 minute mein kar lete hain. Jahan ladkiyon ko aadha ghanta, pauna ghanta lagta hai, woh 15 minute mein ready mil jaati hain set pe. Agar aapne unko bol diya ki 9:00 baje roll karna hai, toh woh 9:00 baje ready milengi, kabhi-kabhi 2-4 minute pehle hi set pe aa jaati hain.”
Concluding, the actor said, “Aur lines saari padh ke aati hain. Tum unse yeh cheez seekh lo, bahut milti hai. Mera unka bond bhi aisa tha ki jab bhi maine unke saath scene kiya… kyunki hum naye the na, toh humein lagta tha ki jo seniors milte hain, unse seekhne ko milta hai. Main hamesha unke bahut close raha hoon, aur unhone hamesha mujhe respect se, bete ki tarah pyaar diya. Meri ek boundary hoti hai, mujhe lagta hai ki yaar, yeh ek boundary hai, isse cross nahi hona chahiye. Iske andar hi rehna chahiye, jisme respect bhi milegi, kaam bhi milega, aur sab kuch milega. Toh mera unke saath bahut acha relation hai.”
