EXCLUSIVE: Mohit Magotra ADMITS Roadies Contestants Have An Advantage In Splitsvilla; States, “Experience Matters A Lot”

Mohit Magotra, popularly known for Splitsvilla (2008) and Tiger Returns (2025), is back in the limelight after his eviction from the MTV reality TV show Splitsvilla X6. Reality TV shows are often speculated to favor contestants with prior experience from other shows. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble, evicted contestant Mohit Magotra spoke about whether Splitsvilla gives an advantage to experienced contestants like Roadies stars and if the makers show any bias towards them. Mohit Magotra Talks About Ex-Roadies Contestants Getting An Advantage In Splitsvilla X6

When asked whether you believe contestants who have come from Roadies have an advantage in the show, Mohit Mangotra said, “Advantage milta hai in terms of experience, I feel. Jo log pehle Roadies ya kisi reality show se aaye hote hain, unko pata hota hai kaise game khelni hai, kya cheezein karni hain. Experience matters a lot. Kuch log fresh newbies hote hain, unhe nahi pata hota kya bolna hai. Kuch log emotions mein itna beh jaate hain, koi rota hi ja raha hai, koi unnecessarily ladta hi ja raha hai. Reality show kar chuke logon ko samajh hoti hai ki kya karna hai, kya nahi. Kabhi-kabhi aap over-drama kar dete ho jo editing team ko acha nahi aata aur woh cut ho jaata hai. So haan, experience ke terms mein thoda sa advantage toh hota hi hai.”

Mohit Magotra Speaks Out On Alleged Bias By Splitsvilla X6 Makers

When asked whether he believes the makers are biased or if favouritism exists in terms of editing, Mohit said, “Ab mujhe aisa nahi lagta ki makers biased hote hain. Jaise Himanshu ne bhi bola, hum sab thode bahut selfish hote hain. Humein lagta hai ki jo mera heroic moment hai, woh zyada dikhna chahiye. ‘Yeh toh dikhna hi chahiye, yahan main hero bana tha.’ Lekin audience point of view se dekhein, toh editing team aur makers saalon se yeh show kar rahe hain. Unhe pata hai show ko kaise present karna hai aur audience ko kya dikhana hai. Hamara greed aur selfishness kabhi khatam nahi hota. Isliye mujhe nahi lagta ki favouritism hota hai.”

The actor also added, “Haan, joh log pehle reality shows kar chuke hote hain, unko thoda edge milta hai. Unhe pata hota hai kaise words use karne hain, kaise bolna hai ‘main tujhe word nahi de raha,’ ya ‘tu meri priority nahi hai.’ Yeh sab experience se aata hai. Aur jab aap naye hote ho, pehli baar itne cameras dekhte ho, aap 10 baatein bolna chahte ho par sochte rehte ho bolun ya nahi. Lekin ek reality show karne ke baad aap open ho jaate ho, confident ho jaate ho. Toh yeh sab advantages hote hain joh Roadies background wale contestants ke paas the, aur kuch log isme thoda lag kar rahe the.”
