EXCLUSIVE: Mona Singh Reflects On Her Relationship With Technology Post Thode Door Thode Paas’ Release; Says, “Social Media Is Great, But…”

Mona Singh needs no introducion. The actress – who became a household name by playing the titular character in Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin from 2003 to 2006, is a well know name in Bollywood too thanks to her performances in projects such as 3 Idiots, Lal Singh Chaddha, Munjya, Made in Heaven, The Ba***ds of Bollywood and more. The actress – who was last seen in Thode Door Thode Paas, has exclusively opened up to us about her relationship with social media and technology. Read on to know all she shared.

Mona Singh On Social Media & Technology

When asked if playing Simran in Thode Door Thode Paas made her reflect on her own relationship with technology, Mona Singh replied, “Absolutely. I realised how often my phone pulls my attention without me even noticing. I’ve started keeping device-free hours and turning off unnecessary notifications. I try to be fully present when I’m with people. Technology is wonderful, but it shouldn’t run our lives.”

On being quizzed on how she manages being active on social media, given that she is always in the public eye, the ‘Ba***ds Of Bollywood’ actress said, “I choose when I want to be online. I don’t feel pressured to constantly post. My team often says, “This is trending, you should share something,” and most of the time I just smile and say no. I post when it feels genuine — during promotions or when something personally moves me. Social media is great for connection, but real life happens offline. Keeping some moments just for myself and my loved ones keeps me grounded.”

Mona’s other upcoming projects include Paan Parda Zarda, Ma Ka Sum and Happy Patel Khatarnaak Jasoos
