EXCLUSIVE: Naagin 7 Actor Abraam Pandey Opens Up About His Love For Challenging Roles; Confesses, “Characters That Carry Authority Always Interest Me”

Abraam Pandey – who currently plays an Army officer in Priyanka Chahar Choudhary-led Naagin 7, has been steadily building a strong presence in the television industry with his consistent performances and dedication to meaningful roles. As he continues to impress his fans and viewers in general, Bollywood Bubble exclusively spoke to the actor about his roles and which character he loves playing the most on screen. Abraam Pandey On His Love For Challenging Roles

During the exclusive interaction we asked Abraam Pandey about how he chooses the stories he becomes part of. While revealing how most of his prior projects either him playing gods or characters with strong morals, he stated that roles that give him new challenges are always the most exciting for him. The Naagin 7 actor said, “Looking at my journey so far, I have mostly played positive roles. If you follow the kind of work I’ve done, you’ll notice that I have largely been part of mythological shows, where I have often portrayed gods or very positive characters.”

He continued, “However, roles that come with a challenge always excite me even more. For example, in Naagin 7, I am playing an Army Officer. It’s a role that feels very special to me because I always wanted to join the Indian Army in real life. Getting the opportunity to portray an Army officer on screen is something that makes me extremely happy and excited.”

Abraam: Characters That Carry Authority Always Interest Me

During the same chat, Abraam Pandey further added that characters with authority and depth attract him the most as an actor. According to Abraam, layered roles allow him to explore different emotions and add variety to his performances. The actor stated, “Characters that carry authority always interest me. Whether it is a strong positive role or even a character with grey shades, those layers make the performance more engaging for me as an actor.”

He further added, “I also enjoy intense scenes, crime-based situations, and roles that allow me to explore different genres. All these elements together make a script truly exciting for me.”

During the same conversation, Abraam also opened up about his script selection process and what matters the most to him when he decides which project to say yes to.
