EXCLUSIVE: Neha Swami Tears Up As She Misses Husband Arjun Bijlani This Karva Chauth; Recalls, “Mujhe Apne Haath Se Khilaata Hai”

Today women across India are observing a fast from sunrise to moonrise for the safety and longevity of their husbands. One of the millions fasting today is Neha Swami, the wife of actor-host Arjun Bijlani. During an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble, Neha opened up about Karva Chauth and how she will be celebrating it this year away from Arjun.

For the unversed, Arjun is currently participating in Amazon MX Player’s reality show Rise and Fall. Based on the British show of the same name, it features the contestants divided as rulers and workers. With a cash prize of Rs 50 lakhs up for grabs, the show sees the rulers live in a luxury penthouse while he workers live in the basement and carry out asks to win money from the prize pot.

During an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Neha Swami got candid about Karva Chauth this year and missing her husband. Talking about how she plans on celebrating the festival this year, as Arjun Bijlani is in the Rise And Fall house, she said, “Basically celebration toh yehi hai ki mehendi lagegi, shringar hoga. Bahut zyada miss karne wali hu Arjun ko. But achhi baat ye hai ki Arjun kaam kar raha hai aur I have to be positive, toh woh jaldi hi mere liye gift bhi lekar aayega, Karva Chauth ka, dekh lena.”

Talking about how her Karva Chauth celebration would be if Arjun were beside her and the romantic things he would have done for her, Neha said, “Bahut hi cute behave karta hai. Poora din toh khaane kee baatein karta hai. Uske baad jab main ready hoti hoon na shaam ko toh woh start to end mere saath khada hota hai. Mujhe kya accha lag raha hai, mujhe kya pehanna chahiye… Woh poora dhyaan deta hai, mujhe poora ready karta hai. Phir hum saath mein chaand dekhne jaate hain. Phir vo mujhe apne haath se khilaata hai joh woh is baar miss karega. Aur main bhi bahut miss karoongi, but theek hai, it’s okay.”
