Nidhi Gangta Reveals Why She Chose Quality Roles Over Screen Time

In an industry where visibility often takes priority, Nidhi Gangta believes in a different approach. The actress, who has been steadily carving her space on television, strongly feels that quality roles matter more than the number of appearances on screen. For her, every character should add value to her journey as an actor and help her grow creatively.

Nidhi Gangta Reveals Why She Chooses Quality Roles Over Screen Time

Nidhi speaking to Bollywood Bubble, said, “For me, screen time has never been the ultimate goal. I believe one powerful role can leave a deeper impact than doing multiple projects that don’t challenge you as an actor. I am very conscious about the kind of characters I choose because I want my work to be remembered, not just seen.”

Talking about waiting for the right scripts, Gangta adds that patience is an essential part of an actor’s journey. She shares, “There have been moments when I chose to wait instead of saying yes immediately. It’s not always easy, especially in this industry, but I trust that the right script comes at the right time. I would rather wait than rush into something that doesn’t excite me.”

She further says that every role she takes up teaches her something new and helps her evolve. “I look for roles that push me emotionally and mentally. If a character makes me nervous or curious, that’s when I know it’s worth doing. Growth happens only when you step out of your comfort zone,” Nidhi explains.

Concluding her thoughts, Nidhi Gangta says, “I want my journey to be honest and fulfilling. Success is not just about being visible everywhere, but about being satisfied with the work you do. As long as I am learning, evolving, and staying true to my craft, I know I am on the right path.”

Nidhi Gangta gained widespread recognition for her role as Nazima Niyazi, the antagonist in the Colors TV show Seher Hone Ko Hai.
