nimrit kaur ahluwalia, shalin bhanot,

Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia did not win the Salman Khan hosted show Bigg Boss 16, but she managed to win many hearts. Recently, Nimrit sat down for an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble and opened up about her journey, fights and more. She also shared her thoughts on Shalin’s public apology for his behaviour.

Nimrit on Shalin’s apology

At a recent press conference, Shalin apologized for his behaviour towards Nimrit on the show. When asked Nimrit about Shalin’s apology, Nimrit said, “See I haven’t seen it and I can’t say but I also do realise that in life theek hai we are all humans and we make mistakes. Maybe he is genuinely apologetic or maybe he’s not it doesn’t matter. He had to do what he had to do and I had to do what I had to do. So, it doesn’t really matter. What’s done is done. I just feel like bygones be bygones and there’s no point in really clinging onto things and it’s also something that doesn’t matter to me.”

Nimrit was very vocal about her mental health in the Bigg Boss 16 house. Some netizens accused her of using it to get attention. When asked about it, Nimrit said, “I never cared to bother myself with that thought because for me to just be able to survive and not lose myself in that space was of utmost importance to me. And if people don’t have the sensitivity or the EQ or the intelligence or the awareness to understand the magnitude of it then I feel that should be a motivation for people like us. Like you and me and others to have more of these conversations so that we do reach a point where people can understand this.”

During the conversation, Nimrit also opened up about her link-up rumours with Mahir Pandhi, her bond with Bigg Boss 16 co-contestants Shiv Thakare and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary.
