EXCLUSIVE: ‘Numb’ Vahbiz Dorabjee Opens Up On Dealing With Sidharth Shukla, Shefali Jhariwala’s Untimely Demise; Says, “Process Hi Nahi Kar Paa Rahi Hoon…”

Vahbiz Dorabjee is a TV personality who rose to fame after the serial Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani. She became a household name after Saraswatichandra and Bahu Hamari Rajni Kant. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Vahbiz Dorabjee recalls her friendship with late actor Sidharth Shukla. She admits her favourite Bigg Boss season was with Shukla as a participant.

Vahbiz Dorabjee On Sidharth Shukla’s Bigg Boss 13 Participation

When asked which Bigg Boss season is her favourite, Vahbiz Dorabjee said, “I think my favourite season was 2013, Sidharth’s show. Like that season ka toh maine koi bhi episode chhoda nahi, and Sidharth was one of my closest friends. So mujhe toh pata tha ki woh bilkul hi pretend nahi kar raha hai. Woh aisa hi tha real life mein bhi, and jo usne wahan dikhaya, he was just like that.”

She added, “Sidharth and I had one thing in common. We all were Sagittarians. Hum dono wahi bolte the ki hey, hum itne similar hain because hamari like 15–16 saal ki dosti thi. Hum modelling days se ek doosre ko jaante the. So I knew ki he is also too good at talking. Usko toh koi hara hi nahi sakta tha. I think that was a season I was addicted to, what a season, maza aa gaya.”

Vahbiz On Sidharth Shukla’s Death

Vahbiz revealed how she is coping with Sidharth Shukla’s death, “Actually, main toh like honestly over the period na numb ho gayi hoon. Because it’s not only Siddharth, it’s so many people. Like, even right now, Shefali, she was in my ex-building, she was my neighbour.I don’t know, main process hi nahi kar paa rahi hoon ki itne log. Like kabhi-kabhi main apni contact book bhi dekhti hoon, oh my God, this person is no more. You know? But I will tell you one thing, it just makes you feel like, please value life. Please value your loved ones, cherish each day and make the most of it. Pata nahi, kal ho na ho. Honestly, it’s become like that.”

Vahbiz’s Relation With Sidharth Shukla, Shefali Jariwala

Vahbiz was a vocal supporter of Sidharth Shukla during his time on Bigg Boss 13. She openly expressed her belief in him and considered him a strong contender for the title. Shefali Jariwala and Dorabjee were close friends and former neighbours. Vahbiz has expressed her deep sorrow and shock over Shefali’s sudden demise in June 2025, remembering her as a cheerful and vibrant person. They even shared a touching coincidence of having pets named Simba
