EXCLUSIVE: Ranvir Shorey Calls Tiger 3 Co-Star Salman Khan ‘A Very Generous Soul’; Reveals How He Handles Stardom

Ranvir Shorey opened up about his experience working with Salman Khan. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, he offered a rare insight into the actor’s off-screen personality. Shorey praised Bhaijaan wholeheartedly, calling him “fabulous” and “a very generous soul.” He added that Salman lacks the usual insecurities often associated with stardom, noting that the actor never gets caught up in ego-driven concerns about status and entitlement. Ranvir Shorey Calls Salman Khan ‘A Very Generous Soul’

When asked how Salman Khan is as a co-actor, Ranvir Shorey responded, “Fabulous. I think he is a very generous soul. Unmein aisa kuch bhi nahi hai jo normally stardom ki game mein hota hai — jahan logon ko chhoti-chhoti cheezein affect karti hain, ki you know… mera haq, mera zyada. But he’s not like that. He’s very, very generous.”

Ranvir-Salman Khan Projects

Ranvir Shorey and Salman Khan have collaborated in Ek Tha Tiger (2012) and Tiger 3 (2023). Shorey portrays RAW agent Gopi Arya alongside Khan’s lead character. Although he was absent from the second instalment, Tiger Zinda Hai, Shorey later revealed that he turned down the film because he was offered a smaller role and a reduced fee. He eventually returned for Tiger 3, admitting he did the film “in anger” after learning the makers planned to kill off his character. And they needed him for the death sequence. This time, however, he was offered a “decent amount,” prompting his comeback to the YRF Spy Universe.
