Actress Sadia Khateeb shared her perspective on success, revealing that for her, it goes beyond box office numbers. While she acknowledges the importance of commercial success, she believes true fulfillment comes from working on films that create an impact.

Sadia Khateeb On Choosing Scripts That Creates Impact Over Box Office Numbers

Sadia values storytelling that sparks conversations and leaves a lasting impression on audiences. She stated that a project that resonates emotionally and socially holds more significance than just financial gains.

In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble, she said, “I will never read a script and know if that film can do commercially well, even the biggest of producers can’t today tell you if this film can do well or not do well, right? We live in a world which is so unpredictable that you can’t tell which film will do well and which will not do well. In my hands is only the script, so I only chose that. So whenever I seek a project and I look for quality, the quality doesn’t mean the box of this collection. It is absolutely two different things for me. The quality means what am I doing in the film? Is it going to impact some people?”

However, Sadia also understands the balance between entertainment and meaningful cinema, hoping to be part of films that achieve both critical acclaim and commercial success in the long run.

Furthermore, the Raksha Bandhan actress also spoke about how she chooses scripts and believes in quality over quantity and on how she choose scripts, she said,“For three films, you don’t choose, a script chooses you. Shikara happened to me, and I was only lucky and fortunate enough that I got a script like that, where I had Neeti Path. Raksha Bandhan again, we tested for it. The Diplomat also I tested for it. Now whenever I look at scripts my end goal is, what I look for and what I seek is, I want to perform, yaar. I really want to act. I want to satisfy my creative soul. I try to look into projects which are more meaty, and where I have more to do.”
