In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble, Sai Tamhankar shares an anecdote about Kareena & Shahid hugging each other at IIFA 2025. She says, “It’s very subjective, it’s very subjective, it really depends on person to person. Also it depends on what kind of relationship you shared with that person. So, I think it’s very personal, to each it’s own I think but, as a viewer, as an audience, even I felt very nice when they spoke. The person inside me was very happy and hopeful ki, ‘Shayad yeh wapas kaam karenge abhi.’ Everybody loves their on-screen pair. I got very hopeful for a second as an audience and I think it was very sweet.” ( It’s subjective and depends on the relationship shared. Personally, as a viewer, I felt happy and hopeful that they might work together again. Everyone loves their on-screen pair, and for a moment, I was excited. It was very sweet.)

Sai Tamhankar On Divorces

“When asked about divorces Sai said, “It’s changed, we’ve come very far. I don’t think abhi aisa kuch hai aur iss baat ko 15 saal ho chuke hai. I think we’ve moved ahead and I’m glad it’s changed, I am very happy that we are a part of this progressive society and, sometimes things don’t workout and it’s okay. You get to learn out of it, you get to learn a lot out of it and such experiences are not taught you know. You only live your life once, you gather such experiences and they are equally important to you, very important learnings.” (When asked about divorces, Sai said, “We’ve come a long way, and things have changed over the years. I’m glad to be part of a progressive society where we learn from life experiences. Sometimes things don’t work out, and that’s okay—they teach us valuable lessons.)

On The Work Front

On the work front, Sai Tamhankar continues to shine in both Marathi and Hindi entertainment industries. She was widely praised for her performance in Mimi (2021) and has since been part of several noteworthy projects. Recently, she appeared in the Marathi film Medium Spicy and the web series Pet Puraan, showcasing her versatility.
