When asked about international media being trolled for not knowing Shah Rukh Khan, Saie Tamhankar said, “Ye jo trolling ho rahi hai, ye pyaar ki wajah se ho rahi hai. Haan, kyunki aisa hai na, Shah Rukh ko nahi jaante. Exactly. These are our feelings, these are our thoughts. Shah Rukh fans are like, ‘Yeah, that’s okay, I understand. It is coming from a very pure, very possessive space.’ And it is absolutely justified. But having said this, main kal uth ke ye nahi bol sakti ki I will not introduce myself. You should know me. Aisa nahi ho sakta hai. Puri duniya aapko nahi jaan sakti. Kisi ek kone mein koi to rahega jisko pata nahi hoga ki aap kaun hain. And that is absolutely okay. I look at it like this.”
