EXCLUSIVE: Shah Rukh Khan Approaches Jaideep Ahlawat For King; Set To Play Antagonist With Jackie Shroff

Shah Rukh Khan’s highly anticipated film King is already making waves because of the ensemble cast in place. King is said to be an action-packed drama featuring Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Arshad Warsi, Anil Kapoor and Abhay Verma. Deepika Padukone is also expected to appear in a special role as Suhana’s mother and Shah Rukh’s former lover. A day prior, Bollywood Bubble exclusively reported that Jackie Shroff was set to play the antagonist in the film.

Jaideep Ahlawat Joins SRK’s King As Villain

Now it’s buzzing even louder with news of Jaideep Ahlawat potentially joining the cast. According to Bollywood Bubble sources, “Shah Rukh Khan himself reached out to Ahlawat, personally called him to come on board. He will be seen portraying a powerful antagonist in the film, sharing the villainous space with veteran actor Jackie Shroff. Talks are currently underway, and the shooting for Ahlawat’s portions is expected to begin soon.”

Known for his intense performances in Paatal Lok, Raazi, Jaane Jaan, and Jewel Thief Jaideep Ahlawat’s inclusion promises to bring a gritty and compelling dynamic to the action-packed thriller.

King, which stars SRK in a larger-than-life avatar and is co-produced by his daughter Suhana Khan, marks a high-stakes, action-driven spectacle. With an ensemble of formidable performers and a gripping storyline, the film is shaping up to be one of the most exciting projects in the Bollywood pipeline.
