EXCLUSIVE: Shashank Khaitan Opens Up About Dulhania 3; Reveals Why Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt Starrer Is Taking Time To Materialise

Shashank Khaitan is a well-known Indian film director, writer, and producer in Bollywood. He became popular with his directorial debut Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, which was a fun romantic comedy. The film starred Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan and was loved by the audience for its fresh storyline, lively music, and strong performances. Following its success, Shashank directed Badrinath Ki Dulhania, a spiritual sequel with the same lead pair. This film also became a big hit and received praise for combining romance, comedy, and a strong social message about gender equality.

Shashank Khaitan Update On Dulhania 3

Since then, fans have been eagerly waiting for the third part of the Dulhania series. We got in touch with Shashank regarding the update for the franchise. To which he stated to Bollywood Bubble, “We all want to come, whether it’s Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan or me, but we are still waiting for the right story. I think when we are all happy with the good story. We will definitely come up with it.”

He further added, “There’s nothing that we are in talks about or something like that. We are talking all the time, we are discussing ideas all the time, but nothing has materialised so far. We are very responsible about how we want the franchise to go ahead, and we don’t wanna make a film just for a project. We want to tell a good story, which will be engaging and fun. We have received so much love for the Dulhania series. We want to ensure that we don’t take the audience for granted.”
