When asked about his overhyped Virat Kohli comment, Siwet Tomar clarified, “Ek minute, sorry. Yeh dekho, the problem is log jo bol rahe hain, aap maan le rahe ho. Mujhse question poocha gaya, ‘Dhoni ya Kohli main kaun overhyped hai?’ Toh poori duniya toh uss question se hat chuki hai, sirf Dhoni aur Kohli reh gaye. So maine kaha, according to me, Dhoni aur Kohli mein mujhe Kohli overhyped lagta hai — in comparison of both.”

He added, “Maine yeh nahi bola ki baaki sab mein (Kohli) overhyped hai. Jisko chhoone ki bhi meri aukaat nahi, uske liye main kya hi bolu. But agar dono mein se ek choose karna ho, toh Dhoni — my choice is Dhoni. Mere hisaab se Dhoni shayad utna overhyped nahi jitna Kohli hai. Ab overhyped hata do, mere liye bas choice thi dono mein. Jaise Prince bhai aur Elvish mein, main hamesha Prince bhai choose karunga — waise hi mera Dhoni favourite hai. He’s gonna be a lifetime favourite. Toh main Kohli ko uske neeche hi rakhunga. Baaki aapko jo karna hai, karte raho yaar. Comment section mein ukhaad sakte ho, aur kya ukhaad loge? “

Concluding, the actor said, “Ab pehli cheez toh yeh hai ki soch hi kharaab hai, kisey protect kar rahe ho yaar? Woh country ke liye khelta hai. Tumhare bolne se usse… Koi farq nahi pada hoga mere bolne se, tumhari pata nahi kaise aag lag gayi. Hum Kohli ko bachayenge! Main hamesha kehta hoon — tum kuch nahi karoge yaar, tum sirf comment section bharoge. Kya hi farq pad jaayega usse?”

Siwet On Which Cricketers Will Be Great As Actors

During the rapid-fire round of the same interview, when asked which cricketer would make a good actor, Siwet Tomar replied, “Virat Kohli, Shubhman Gill, Abhishek Sharma, yaar, bohot saare cricketers toh bohot good lagte hain — aate hain. Aur ek aur Mahendra Singh Dhoni, woh toh acting bhi nahi karega, sirf khada ho jaaye movie mein, movie chal jaayegi.”
