EXCLUSIVE: Suneel Darshan ADMITS Having Salt And Pepper Relationship With Juhi Chawla; Reveals Why Karisma Kapoor Replaced Her In Sunny Deol Starrer Ajay

Suneel Darshan and Juhi Chawla have worked in 3 film together, their first film was Ek Rishtaa: The Bond Of Love. While promoting his upcoming film, Andaaz 2 the filmmaker sat for an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble. While Suneel praised Juhi calling her a remarkable and commendable actress, he mentioned how their bond is that of salt and pepper.

Suneel Darshan On His Bond With Juhi Chawla

When speaking about his bond and working with Juhi Chawla, filmmaker Suneel Darshan said, “Salt-and-pepper relationship raha. Lekin kahin na kahin koi mithaas toh zaroor thi, tabhi toh maine uske saath 3 filmein ki. Lootere pehli thi, phir uske baad Ek Rishtaa. Uske baad ek aur film thi, actually 4 ki thi.”

He continued, “Ajay (Film made in 1996) wali thi woh, aur uske saath maine teen gaane shoot kiye the. And then we had an issue, aur mujhe kaafi nuksaan hua tha. Lekin maine bola, nuksaan seh loonga, because seriously, I tell you, main itna hi believe karta hoon ki filmmaker ki izzat honi chahiye. Kyunki aapko pata nahi hota film ko kitni takleefon se guzarna padta hai, ek film banane ke liye. It’s a difficult process. Toh agar aap imbalance mein aa jaate ho kahin na kahin, toh it’s not good-good. Isi liye phir us film mein se use change karke Karisma ko liya. And then Karisma ke star shaan, so by the time maine film release ki, Karisma was a newcomer and Juhi was a top star. But then the equation changed.”

Concluding, Darshan said, “But then we decided to make amends, aur phir hamari mulaqat hui. Ek Rishtaa mein uska bahut important role tha. Toh maine socha, kyun nahin Juhi se, artist toh Juhi commendable hai, remarkable artist hai. She wanted to do it. Use cast kiya, film complete ki. Phir last mein thoda kaam reh gaya, phir kuch anban ho gayi. Aapne sahi bola. Phir ‘Tata’ ho gaya. Phir ek baar Dosti ka mauka aaya, toh phir banda saath mein kaam kar liya. And that time, zindagi mein insaan growth ke saath mature bhi ho jaata hai.”
