Suniel Shetty Opens Up On His Bond With Amitabh Bachchan
When shown a picture of him with Amitabh Bachchan and Jackie Shroff on the sets of KBC, Suniel Shetty recalled, “Okay, KBC and I think, Bhidu (Jackie Shroff) and Bhaai (Salman Khan) came to KBC, iska uski everyone came to KBC. Suddenly, KBC went local. Suddenly, from being a metro-centric show, it became about the janta, reaching everywhere. So I think that was beautiful, and even Bachchan saab was on another level. But we won a lot of money for our NGOs, so we were super excited and very happy.”

Suniel On Amitabh Bachchan’s Dedication To Acting
Suniel revealed Amitabh Bachchan’s dedication towards work and why he idolises him. He said, “My bond with him is truly magical. You know, again for me, like Dada (Jackie Shroff) is my hero, Amitabh Bachchan has been my idol. You know, that man you worship, not just because of what you see on screen. But what I saw when I was in L.A. shooting for Kaante. Every afternoon, we wanted to have lunch together, and he would always say no. Sanju and I said, ‘Yeah, he’s there in the van but doesn’t want to join us.‘ Even though there was this lavish spread of food, and everyone was eating together. But he never came.”

Continuing, he said, “So one day we insisted we wanted to see him, and being the brats we just walked into his van. And what he was doing there was physiotherapy because he couldn’t move his neck and had a very bad shoulder, a frozen shoulder and a stiff neck. Every afternoon during lunch, he used to get his treatment done so he could shoot for the next few hours. And he never even told us he was doing this. So then, the love and respect go ten notches higher. And that’s the man.”
Anusha Dandekar On Her Bond With Amitabh Bachchan
When shown a picture of her with Amitabh Bachchan, Anusha Dandekar chimed, “Oh, and we spoke about him. And it’s there this was at Jaaved (Jaaved Akhtar) uncle’s birthday, and Amitabh Bachchan saw me after so many years because we had done Virrudh… Family Comes First together, and he was like, ‘Oh my God, where have you been? You look the same!’ He was just so warm and loving, and I got a big hug, and we spoke for a little bit. He’s just a great person, and to do my first ever Bollywood film with him was truly a dream.”
