While revealing how Anurag Basu came on-board as Gajendra Bhaiya, Tisca Chopra said, “One actor who was supposed to play Anurag’s role fell and broke his arm and said he couldn’t do it—and I was like, damn! I checked with Manish about calling Anurag, and he agreed, so we decided to reach out.”

The Saali Mohabbat director continued, “Anurag was in Australia and said, ‘Haan haan, main Australia mein hoon,’ so I told him, ‘Plane pakad ke aa jao jaldi se,’ and he actually flew down. That was really kind of him.”
