Recalling her first day as a director on the sets of Saali Mohabbat and having to direct a director – Anurag Kashyap, that day, Tisca Chopra said, “On my very first day as a director, I was directing Anurag Kashyap. I remember thinking, ‘You’re mad—you’re directing Anurag Kashyap on your first day.’”

She continued, “He’s a friend, so I knew he’d roast me, but I pulled him aside and said, ‘Don’t do that. It’s my first day of shooting.’ Of course, he couldn’t resist. But I wasn’t nervous—I was thrilled.”
