Vaidehi Nair Reveals Punjabi MV Locations Reminded Her Of DDLJ

Reflecting on the experience, Vaidehi shared how special this shoot felt right from day one. Describing the nostalgia and warmth she felt while filming outdoors, she says, “The locations instantly reminded me of DDLJ, those mustard fields, the earthy beauty, the whole Punjabi vibe. It felt like I had stepped into a classic Bollywood moment.”

Her preparation for the music video was just as intense as it was exciting. Vaidehi revealed that she rehearsed her choreography through virtual sessions. She says, “I was practicing over video calls with my choreographer, making sure every move felt clean and natural. Even though it was challenging, it actually pushed me to work harder.”

Adding to the emotional significance of this project was her father’s presence on set. Unlike most of her shoots where her mother accompanies her, this was the first time when it was her dad who stood by her throughout the schedule. The experience became even more meaningful knowing how special the project was for her mom. She says, “Working on a Punjabi music video has always been on my mom’s bucket list for me. Seeing this come true made her so happy, and that made the entire journey even more beautiful for me.”
