Hina Khan and Rocky Jaisawal tied the earlier today and announced the happy occasion with their friends and fans via an heartfelt social media post. For those who don’t know, the longtime sweethearts began dating while Hina played the lead on Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Rocky served as the show’s supervising producer in 2012. And now, 13 years later, they took their relationship forward with an intimate and minimalist wedding ceremony.

For her nuptials, Hina Khan – who is currently battling Stage-3 Breast cancer, looked radiant in a stunning minimalist custom saree and veil by designer Manish Malhotra. The blushing bride opted for an opal green handloom MM saree with gold and silver threads tracing age-old motifs across its weave for her big day. She looked even more radiant thanks to the saree contrasting light blush border, intricate threadwork and traditional zardozi embroidery.

The saree’s subtle pleated gota detailing added depth to the fabric, while a soft pink veil with a scalloped hem lent a dreamlike finish. But the highlight of her bridal ensemble – without a doubt, was the delicate embroidery featuring her and her new husband’s name. That’s right, the actress- adding a personal touch to her bridal look, got both her and Rocky’s name hand sticthed into the saree. Isn’t that lovely!

Rocky too opted for MM creations for their wedding. The groom wore the brand’s signature kurta in ecru, giving and understated, timeless, and tailored charm to the day.
