Met Gala 2024: From Sabyasachi Mukherjee to Rahul Mishra and Gaurav Gupta, Indian designers impress with stunning red carpet looks

The Met Gala 2024 was a star-studded affair that saw several A-listers climb the iconic stairs in exquisite ensembles. The fundraiser held by the Metropolitan Museum of Art to raise money for the museum’s Costume Institute, saw several Indian personalities in attendance too. But that wasn’t India’s only presence at the fashion Superbowl. Several Indian designers also had a hand in delivering red carpet-worthy Met Gala 2024 ensembles. 

While some stars kept in sync with the theme, ‘Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion’ and its dress code, ‘A Garden in Time,’ others failed to impress.

The Met Gala 2024 was a star-studded affair and saw several A-listers in attendance. This included the evening’s co-chairs Jennifer Lopez, Zendaya, Chris Hemsworth and Bad Bunny as well as Alia Bhatt, Shakira, Gigi Hadid, BLACKPINK’s Jennie, Isha Ambani, Mona Patel, Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner and many more.
