John Abraham

John Abraham had a close encounter with death while filming a gunshot scene in his criminal drama 'Shootout at Wadala'. Apparently, Anil Kapoor had to shoot a shot, a blank bullet from a distance of 15 feet, but he landed up shooting from only 1.5 feet far. With the grace of God and Anil Kapoor's poor aim, the bullet just brushed by John's neck and the handsome hunk suffered a minor wound.

Hrithik Roshan

Hrithik Roshan performed a few breathtaking stunts in his sci-fi flick 'Krrish'. But one such stunt also was a cause of a severe injury to the star. Hrithik fell from 50-feet high building. His cable suddenly snapped and he fell straight on the ground. Fortunately, there were safety nets tied underneath which saved his life.

Nargis

Late actress Nargis was once trapped amidst fire on the sets of 'Mother India.' During a fire sequence, wind suddenly changed the course of its direction and the set caught fire. Sunil Dutt, who was playing the role of her son in the film, jumped into the fire to save Nargis. Well, this incident was deadly, but it also paved the way for a beautiful love story between Nargis and Sunil Dutt.

Shah Rukh Khan

Shah Rukh Khan and the list of his injuries is endless, but the recent one could have cost him his life, if his best pal Kajol weren't by his side. During the filming of 'Dilwale', Kajol saved Shah Rukh's life. They were shooting for a scene atop a waterfall and accidentally SRK slipped. That's when Kajol saved his life and at an event she joked about this incident stating that SRK owes his life to her.

Sonu Sood

Sonu Sood was in a shock when his high-end luxurious car caught fire on Express Highway once. Sonu's driver immediately noticed the smoke coming out from the car and was quick enough to inform the star about the mishap. He quickly stepped out of his car and escaped the fatal-incident.

Boney Kapoor

Filmmaker Boney Kapoor once met with a car accident while returning from Satara during the filming of his son's 'Tevar'. Boney's car rammed into a tractor near Wai. His car suffered horrifying damages, but he escaped the mishap with a few minor injuries.

Aishwarya Rai

While shooting for 'Khakee', Aishwarya Rai met with a gruesome accident. During a stunt, a jeep was supposed to land up besides her, but instead the jeep bumped into Aishwarya. Though she managed to save herself, but she was brutally injured and was hospitalised for the same.

Amitabh Bachchan

"I was clinically dead for a couple of minutes," is what Amitabh Bachchan had said when he recollected the freak accident he was involved in during the filming of his film 'Coolie'. We all know that Amitabh Bachchan suffered life-threatening injuries while performing for a fight sequence with Puneet Issar in the film 'Coolie'. He was supposed to fall on table and then on ground, but unfortunately he landed up on the edge of the table and soon internally bleeding started. He was hospitalised and slept in to coma for a few days.

Alia Bhatt

Alia Bhatt is a star performer, but at one of her performances at an award function, the lady had a near-death experience. Amidst her performance, a sudden fire from the crackers came gushing over Alia. Luckily, she was quick enough to save herself from the crackers and escaped the dire accident with a few burn marks on hands and face.

Hema Malini

The 'Sholay' star Hema Malini met with a horrifying car accident wherein she got severely injured. Her car collided with another car in Rajasthan. A minor girl died due to this accident, but dream girl Hema Malini escaped death with a few injuries.

Anu Aggarwal

'Aashiqui' actress Anu Aggarwal who faded away from the limelight had met with a near-fatal accident in 1999 that left her in coma for 29 days. It took three years of determination and therapy to get back on feet. Her doctor decided the 12-inch metal plate that held her fractured humerus together, can go. The mini-surgery turned into nightmare when he snapped her radial nerve, leaving her right hand paralysed. She had quoted to a daily, “So, if I closed my eyes there was no thumb. I had no first finger. No second finger. No third finger. No fourth finger. No tiny smallest finger. And I had no nails. I did not have a palm. I did not feel the skin on top of my palm. I had no skin even above the palm. My wrist was decapitated. I had no hand and no lower arm. I had no elbow. I had no upper arm,” she said. The next morning, she sent the surgeon a Dutch plate, a gift to ease his guilt. “The damage to the nerve and the arm is healing but not fast enough”. She learnt to use the fork with her left hand.
