These cases of sexual harassment at the workplace is not new in Bollywood, since ages there have been several actresses like Tanushree who have faced similar situations. Last year, ‘Queen’ director Vikas Bahl was accused of sexual molestation by a female employee of Phantom Films, of which Vikas is a partner. Yesterday the founders of this production house namely Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane, Madhu Mantena announced that they are dissolving the company.

And now the survivor who had to quit her job at Phantom Films opened up about her ordeal once again. She shared with Huffington Post that how no one from the production house condemned what Vikas did with her. Interestingly Anurag has agreed that he has failed the woman. He was quoted saying, “Whatever happened was wrong. We didn’t handle it well, we failed. I cannot blame anyone but myself. But now we are determined to do better. We believe her completely. She has our undying support. What Bahl has done is horrifying. We are already on our path of course correction and will do everything in our capacity to fix it.”

In a first, filmmaker Hansal Mehta has come forward and openly lashed out at Vikas Bahl. The director wrote, “Will anybody do anything about this bloody creep or will the industry protect him like it always does? ‘Queen’ Director Vikas Bahl Sexually Assaulted Me, Phantom Films Did Nothing: Survivor Speaks Out”

He didn’t stop at that and went on to blame Hrithik Roshan for empowering people like Vikas Bahl by agreeing to work with them. For the uninitiated Hrithik will be next seen in ‘Super 30’ which is directed by Vikas.

Expressing his wish that he could do more on the issue Hansal further wrote, “Wish I could do more than just speak out. As a father of two girls I fear them having to deal with such predators just because nobody took any action against Bahl and his ilk- on the contrary a major star has acted in his new film. Who is empowered here? The victim or the creep?
