Megastar Kamal Haasan is happy with the response to his recent release Vikram. The Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial also features Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil in pivotal roles. On Tuesday, the film’s director shared a throwback video and it has created a buzz on the internet. The video shared by Lokesh has Kamal Haasan performing as many as 26 pushups.

Lokesh shared a behind-the-scenes video from the film’s sets in which the Ulaganayagan aka Universal Hero Haasan is seen doing push-ups on the sets of the film.

Posting the video on his Twitter account, he wrote, “@ikamalhaasan sir’s video as promised.. He did 26..I missed recording the initial two..The eagle has landed (fire emoji) #Vikram”.

The video has gone viral on the micro-blogging platform with several Twitter users pointing out the fact that Haasan is 67 years old. One tweeted, “Much fitter than several younger actors”. Another claimed, “He is the fittest actor in India, doesn’t need a six-pack.”

Vikram is continuing its successful run at the box office and has collected more than Rs 400 crore at the global box office. Released on June 3, the Tamil blockbuster is still running with packed theatres in its fourth week across India and the world. The movie is Kamal Haasan’s most successful film to date and also the second-highest grosser after Rajinikanth’s 2.0.

The makers are reportedly planning a continuation of the plot in the next instalment with Vikram’s main antagonist Rolex played by Suriya.
