Mahesh Babu’s elder brother Ramesh Babu passes away

Mahesh Babu and his family have faced with an unfortunate event as his elder brother Ramesh Babu died at the age of 56 on Saturday night. He was suffering from a prolonged illness and lost the battle on Saturday. The Ghattamaneni shared the sad news on social media asking for the well-wishers to avoid gathering at the cremation venue due to the current situation of the pandemic.

The Ghattamaneni family shared an official statement on social media that read, “It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Ghattamaneni Ramesh Babu garu. He will continue to live in our hearts forever. In light of the current circumstances, we request all our well-wishers to adhere to the Covid-19 norms and avoid gathering at the cremation venue.”

Ramesh Babu was known for his roles in movies like Bazaar Rowdy, Mugguru Kodukulu and others. He had taken up film production after he retired from acting in 1997.

Chiranjeevi took to his social media account and extended his condolences to Mahesh Babu’s family, “Shocked and deeply saddened by the demise of Shri.G.Ramesh babu. My heartfelt condolences to Shri.Krishna garu ,@urstrulyMahesh and all the family members. May the Almighty give strength to the family to cope with the tragic loss.”
