Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi’s film Love Story released on September 24 that also happens to be a special day for the Akkineni family as the former’s grandfather’s (Akkineni Nageswara Rao) film Prema Nagar released on the same day 50 years ago. Actor Aamir Khan also recently went to Hyderabad to support his Laal Singh Chaddha co-star Naga Chaitanya’s film. Aamir also attended a dinner party hosted by Naga and his father Nagarjuna. Sai Pallavi was also present at the get-together but Samantha was missing from the party. A picture from the party has gone viral and they are all over their fan pages. Aamir, Naga and Nagarjuna were also seen cutting a cake.

As per reports, at the party, Nagarjuna realised that the character played by his son in Laal Singh Chaddha is called Bala Raju. He was surprised and turned emotional as it was the name of an iconic character played by his father in a film of the same name Balaraju. For the unversed, ANR died of stomach cancer in 2014. He was 90. His last film was Manam where he shared screen space with his son Nagarjuna and grandson Naga Chaitanya.

Talking about Laal Singh Chaddha, Aamir and Naga were shooting for the film in Ladakh. The film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan. Directed by Advait Chandan, it is an official remake of the Hollywood film Forrest Gump. It will release on Christmas this year.

Coming back to Naga Chaitanya, apart from his film Love Story, he is also currently in news for his divorce rumours with Samantha. The reports started doing the rounds when The Family Man 2 actress dropped her surname Akkineni on social media and changed it to ‘S’. In an interview with Film Companion, she said, “The thing is, even with trolling for The Family Man or this, I don’t react to them. That is how I have always been. I don’t react to this kind of noise and I don’t intend on doing so as well.”
