Nagesh Kukunoor's 'Dhanak' cheered by 1000 kids at special screening

Dhanak’ directed and written by Nagesh Kukunoor is earning praise wherever it goes. Recently, there was a special screening organized by the corporate social responsibility wing for 1000 underprivileged kids in New Delhi. And the kids’ beaming faces and loud cheers were proof of the fact that the movie was loved by the children.

The movie explores the heart touching bond of sibling love between Pari and Chotu who set out on a road journey to fulfill a wish promised by Pari to Chotu.

The producer of the movie, Manish Mundra says, “The children’s joy knew no bounds, and we at Drishyam Films feel proud to have brought smiles on so many innocent faces.”

Nagesh was mighty pleased by the response and said, “I have mentored many children over the years in collaboration with these NGOs, so for me, it was a very special moment to have these kids watch and enjoy my film.” The producers are now planning another screening in Mumbai in association with local NGOs.
