Preity Zinta to record statement at Wankhede Stadium

Bollywood actress Preity Zinta had filed an FIR against ex-beau Ness Wadia. Preity had filed charges, of Ness outraging her modesty. As she was away to US, the police could not take action. They needed the actress to give a statement to apply charges on the Bombay Dyeing scion. Therefore had been awaiting the return of the actress.

As per sources, The actress’s statement is important for the police, as it will form the basis of further probe in the case. “We want to know exactly where she was sitting and who were these ‘everyone’ she was referring to,” said an investigating officer.

“We will decide on the next course of action once Preity’s statement is recorded.” It seems that Ness Wadia can only be summoned when Preity’s statement is recorded.

The Mumbai Police want to record actress Preity Zinta’s statement on her complaint of abuse against ex-boyfriend Ness Wadia, at the Wankhede Stadium where the alleged incident took place. But sources say that Preity is keen to record her statement at home. The recent development is that now Preity will record her statement at Wankhede Stadium.

The Mumbai Police has so far recorded statements of eight people in the case.
