Ranbir Kapoor joins a handful other Bollywood stars who’ve also gotten themselves tattood – Saif Ali Khan has wife Kareena’s name on his arm, Akshay Kumar has his son’s name, Hrithik and Sussanne Roshan have matching tattoos and, perhaps most famously, Deepika Padukone inked Ranbir’s initials on the nape of her neck when they were dating. At the unveiling of the trailor of ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’his new film with Deepika Padukone,Ranbir Kapoor revealed a new tattoo on his wrist, the cameras glimpsed the word ‘Awara’ on his right hand wrist, written in Devanagri script.

As per information ,there is a rumour that it is a part of Ranbir’s new look for his upcoming movie, but it also makes us wonder whether it is a tribute to his famous grandfather Raj Kapoor who had directed and produced Awaara in 1951. Awaara, which means vagabond in Hindi, was the first film to feature the character that Raj Kapoor modeled on Charlie Chaplin’s famous Little Tramp. Ranbir’s role in last year’s hit movie Barfi! referenced his grandfather’s version of the ‘little tramp’

Soon we shall hear Ranbir singing ‘awaara hoon’.
