Salman Khan grey tee

Salman Khan is the macho man of Bollywood, but interestingly, he has never depicted the role of a baddie onscreen. The ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ actor, who has refrained from playing a negative character in his two-decade long career, will soon be seen playing a baddie in not one, but two films.

The ‘Dabangg’ Khan has apparently been approached by two top notch filmmakers to be a part of their sequels as a villain. Yes, rumours are abound in Bollywood that Ramesh Taurani has approached Salman to be a part of ‘Race 3’ in the role of a villain. Aditya Chopra too is in discussion with the Khan for ‘Dhoom 4’. The ‘Dhoom’ franchise is known for its antagonists — John Abraham, Hrithik Roshan and Aamir Khan — and if rumours are to be  believed, then Salman Khan might soon join their league.

Sources say, “Salman wants to play a cool, stylish villain. He has never played one before. His negative role in ‘Race 3’ is almost finalised, but discussions are still on with Aditya Chopra for ‘Dhoom:4’. The issue is a financial one where Salman wants a stake in ‘D:4’, just like Aamir had in ‘Dhoom:3’. Salman wants the same profit-sharing ratio that was offered to the ‘D:3’ star. Once that is finalised, he’s on.”

At present Salman Khan is busy wrapping up Ali Abbas Zafar’s ‘Sultan’ that will be releasing this Eid. Now it remains to be seen if Salman Khan will accept the negative role in ‘Dhoom 4’ and ‘Race 3’? If it does happen then it will be for the first time the Khan will be seen as an antagonist.
